Local Parque Mexico down the street offered a peaceful respite from the
heat and traffic.
After packing up and saying our goodbyes to a really lovely group of fellow travelers, we Uber’ed our way over to the swanky suburb of La Condesa. It took a while to navigate the multitude of locks and their combinations. Once inside we pretty much collapsed. it had been a very intensive week. A lot to take in, not much down time and a lot of sweating in the mid to upper 80’s heat. The apartment we rented was roomy, comfortable, and very convenient to restaurants stores and several attractive parks.

Many larger streets had shady walkways in their medians |
 |
Small cafes, specialty shops and flower stalls lined the main streets |

I was quite impressed with recycling kiosks on many street corners. Nice to see recycling is taken seriously here. |

Lots of dogs everywhere, often with professional walkers. Many beautiful Colonial homes, and apartment buildings.
