Here We Go..........

Sunday, Oct. 25: Feeling very accomplished after having moved out of the trailer, packing for China,  NC, FL, and CR for the next 7 months, Ray, Scruffy and I took a relaxing walk to the beach...... The sky was clearing from an earlier rain shower, the water's surface was glassy and the air warm. Anticipating some down time before boarding the plane for China in two days I felt very mellow.

The peace was shattered by a panicked phone call from Kathy who informed me that we had confused our departure date, that we were leaving the next day, and several hours earlier than I had thought, bringing us right up to dealing with early morning rush hour traffic, to boot. Furthermore, as I'm writing this early Monday morning I realize that it's our wedding anniversary! And neither Ray nor I (until this moment) remembered. (And I've been thinking I had it all together ....HA!)
